REALWOOD Rain Column
Authentic wood look meets robust technology
Natural character that inspires
Give your garden a stylish focal point: the REALWOOD Rain Column brings genuine larch or Douglas fir wood into play. The elegant timber cladding creates an authentic look and a particularly warm ambience – ideal for discerning garden lovers.
Proven technology inside
Behind the elegant wood lies a thick-walled PE tank in proven Speidel quality. This gives you a durable and stable product – visible on the outside and equally reliable on the inside.
Convenient water extraction
Draw watering water with ease: two robust brass inserts (3/4" internal thread) make connecting your tap or hose especially simple. Choose the matching outlet taps as practical accessories straight away.
Flexible connection options
Three level surfaces in the upper area of the column provide the perfect place for the Rain Collector. A suitable hole, quickly made with a hole saw, creates the ideal connection.
Practical handling and care
With the removable, centrally positioned lid, you always have easy access for inspection, filling or light cleaning.

Instructions
Installation instructions for rainwater columns
Fixing & foundation
Ensure your rainwater column stands securely on a level, load-bearing surface. A solid foundation made of paving stones, concrete slabs or a base slab provides the column with secure support – even when the tank is full. With a non-slip underlay, everything stays firmly in place. Make sure the column is aligned precisely so that water and connections function optimally. This way, you can enjoy a reliable and stable rainwater storage unit in your garden for years to come.
Does the rainwater column need to be emptied in winter?
Yes, all above-ground PE tanks must be emptied before winter. Otherwise, there is a risk that the tank will split in the lower section.
